Important pair of neoclassical chests of drawers from the second half of the 18th century and from Lombardy, by the great cabinet-maker “Maggiolini”. Veneered in rosewood and with inlays in various exotic woods. Slab in green marble from the Alps. Truncated pyramid leg. Interiors of the drawers in walnut. The furniture is threaded on the sides while on the front with the “mirror” drawers in addition to the threads they bear a basket of flowers, a custom of the son of the master Giuseppe Maggiolini. Carlo Francesco (1758/1834) known as a collaborator and heir of his father's workshop.
