Rare slightly rounded copper COQUEMAR with short foot with rope decoration, hemmed cylindrical neck, hemispherical lid and rolled thumb handle.
Crowned C hallmark used from 1743.
Height: 26.2 cm.
EAST of France (?), Mid-18th century.
Good condition, a small accident to the lid tab and part of the thumb replaced, are however reported, as well as calcareous concretions inside.
Let us point out in passing that each piece of copper or brass dinanderie is obtained by cutting, successive hammering and assembly. Each production is therefore "unique"
Control or master's marks are extremely rare to find on copperware
