Georges Bradberry excels in restoring, in gouache or pastel, the iridescence of the Norman light revealed to him by his friend Joseph Delattre; he notes the most fleeting vibrations in broad divided touches of mauve and blue. Bradberry participated, with his painter friends, including Joseph Delattre, in the founding of the Society of Rouen Artists, of which he was Vice-President from 1910 to 1914.
