Oil on canvas with a figurative scene in a frame drawn with abundant curves and counter-curves and elements reminiscent of rocaille. In this Last Judgement, from bottom to top, a monstrous mouth resembling Hell and a series of skeletons and bodies emerging from the earth are presented, with human figures among flames to the left (perhaps Purgatory); towards the centre an Archangel with a cross, standing under Christ, flanked by the Virgin and the Apostles; above, angelic hierarchies and saints. This type of representation was relatively common in colonial territories, but also related to the Altars of Souls.
