18th Century Silverware - Silver Spoon, Uniplat Model – Angers, 1742-1744

Elegant solid silver spoon of uniplat model.

made in Angers between 1742 and 1744. It bears the hallmark of master goldsmith Pierre NAU, received in 1726.

With a length of 19.9 cm.
weighing 67 g,

this piece bears witness to the refinement and know-how of the Angevin goldsmiths of the 18th century. Its sober and refined design, characteristic of the uniplat model, makes it a fine example of the classical style of the period.

Hallmarks visible despite the wear due to its age and numerous handling in beautiful condition.
