Early 18th century this gilded wooden glazing bead (old mercury mirrors) houses a Christ on the cross in patinated ivory on a brown velvet background, the color of the welcome photo. Small in size but beautifully executed, early 18th century French work, some restorations to the frame, no accidents to the feet and hands of Christ, there remains a bone at the bottom of the cross, the knot of the perizonium is attached to the body, it is not reported
