"Kovsh Russian Silver Calabash Goblet 1900"
Here is a Russian kovsh probably in silver. This classic object of Russian goldsmithing is in fact a small drinking vessel. Equipped with a handle on the side, it evokes the general appearance of a ladle and reproduces in gold or silver the traditional shape of wooden cups. Most often the end opposite the handle is finished with a carved button or a double-headed eagle. The most precious are in gold or silver plated. We note that this kovsh is dented in several places. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the condition, please detail the photos. Do not hesitate to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description.
