Shobu Tsukuri blade, Mune Hikushi, Notare temper line. Nakago type Funa Gata (boat hull), Kuri Jiri or Hira Yamagata (round), signed and engraved with two grooves. Copper habaki.
Wooden sheath (saya), covered in lacquer.
Buffalo horn Koigushi, Kojiri and Kurigata.
Sageo in green silk.
Kogatana with copper Kotsuka depicting a rider on a bridge over a turbulent river where a man is fighting a dragon, all enhanced with gold.
Wooden Tsuka, covered in shagreen.
Iron tsuba representing a bird of prey with brass eyes overlooking a Japanese macaque taking a bath in the Onsen, a natural hot spring, enhanced with copper and brass.
This scene probably refers to the legend that these birds were sent by the samurai to search for a piece of the sun, which, once melted in the snow, would provide the monkeys with a source of warmth.
Menuki representing two brass dragons.
Copper fuchi covered in shakudo, engraved with several leaves, probably maple.
