This covered incense burner from Japan from the mid-19th century is made of copper and cloisonné enamels. The neck is removable, the globular belly resting on a copper base and decorated with two curved handles, decorated with Japanese symbols: peony, plum blossoms and cherry blossoms, great tits and on the chiseled gilded copper lid decorated with a coiled dragon.
