Henry Kokken (Antwerp, 2 August 1860 – Antwerp, 26 November 1941) was a Belgian painter and draftsman. He is also sometimes referred to as Henri Kokken or Hendrik Kokken. He studied at the Antwerp Academy. He worked in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and (during the First World War) in Great Britain. He was active in the Antwerp art circles "De Scalden" (founded in 1889) and "Als ick kan". He specialized in genre paintings, landscapes and still lifes of fruit and flowers. He proved to be a skilled colourist with a soft touch. In addition to his oil paintings, he was also an excellent draftsman. Kokken participated in the Ghent Salon in 1883 with two works: "Landscape of the surroundings of Turnhout" and "Flower Basket". During his stay in Great Britain, he participated with two paintings in the "Belgian Exposition of Modern Art" in Kingston-upon-Thames in 1915. Like many other landscape painters, he became a member of the Royal Society for Natural and Urban Beauty (1910-1943).
