A six-panel screen painted on paper and gold dust, depicting an enchanting hilly landscape with a field of pine trees standing out among golden clouds.

Signed Mori Shungaku (1836-1917) with a seal at the bottom right.

Period: Meiji Taisho late 19th early 20th century.
Dimensions: 175 x 380 cm.
Condition: Excellent. There are two light vertical lines of humidity between the 5th and 6th panels. Small stains along the surface. There are two circular folds in the paper along the 1st panel. Wear consistent with the age of the silk frame and the lacquer frame.
