Description:
Ancient chest made of fir wood and entirely painted in petrol green, with onion-shaped legs
entirely made of fir wood, with ramages decorations.
On the front, four columns surmounted by arches divide the space into three parts, each of which is painted brick red and contains rich floral decorations. On the central one there is also the lock with its key. Also on the front you can see the date and the initials of the first client.
On the sides, more floral decorations on a red background and two comfortable wrought iron handles, useful for carrying the chest.
Inside, the original structure with the folding compartment is still present.

The photographs you see portray the piece of furniture not yet restored. The state of conservation is excellent.
The piece of furniture, at the time of sale, will be supplied completely restored. The customer will decide the desired level of restoration. Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
– structural restoration
– careful anti-woodworm treatment
– cleaning and sanitization of the interior
– external finish with natural beeswax
– internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the internal layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
