Possibility of shipping in France and abroad Eugène CLARY Born in Paris in 1856. A student of César de Cock, he exhibited for the first time at the Salon of 1878, then at the Salons of the Société nationale des beaux-arts and at the Salon des artistes français. He won a bronze medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris. He followed the dissidents who founded the Salon of the Société nationale des beaux-arts, of which he was an associate in 1890, then a member in 1920. He exhibited regularly at the Galerie Georges Petit, Bernheim, Reitlinger and in London. A talented impressionist painter, he produced numerous works on the banks of the Seine, which he was able to imbue with a very personal style and charm. Around 1908, he gradually became blind and music was his artistic refuge until his death in 1926.
