Stew spoon – 18th century

Superb solid silver stew spoon, finely chiseled, with a rich heraldic decoration on the handle. The coat of arms is composed of a three-towered coat of arms surmounted by three stars, framed by two roaring lions and topped with a count's crown.

Hallmarked with the Fermiers Généraux de Pau, with the master goldsmith's mark B. L on fleur-de-lys and crowned, as well as a charge mark representing a crowned duck, attesting to its authenticity and its 18th century period.

Condition: Wear on the end of the spoon and a slight small dent, without altering its charm and rarity.

Dimensions:
Length: 29.2 cm
Width: 5.8 cm
Weight: 142 g

A beautiful piece of silverware, ideal for collectors and lovers of old silverware.
