Interesting Plaster Medal, Precious Frame, Alexander 1st By Carl Leberecht, 19th Century

Presented in a very pretty precious frame, square format, with a large section. In rosewood plated wood, 4 rosette-shaped spandrels in beautifully gilded brass, it contains the medal. It is not in biscuit but in plaster, therefore probably removed from the original medal, it is however interesting since it represents Alexander 1st, and is marked in Russian: "Ex. Alexander 1st, emperor and autocrat of all Russia". Marked by Carl Leberecht (1749-1827) German medalist who worked for the Russian Imperial Court. Small brass suspension ring on the top of the frame.
Excellent condition, no break or flaw. Just need to hang it on your wall.
European working, the German medal, the frame may be French, dating from the first part of the 19th century.
Dimensions: Frame 12.5cm x 12.5cm x 2.3cm. Medal 6.5cm diameter
