"Gilt Bronze Ring Pocket, 19th Century"
A three-tiered ring box, with a tray at the base with an openwork edge with stylized wave patterns and resting on three feet. In the center, a shaft composed of different elements with palmette and acanthus leaf patterns accommodates on the other two levels branches in the shape of scrolls connected by a crown of leaves. Hooks that can hold rings, watches or other jewelry are arranged on the two crowns. This empty pocket is topped by a sphere with a grip that acts as a box.
