Equipped with its small ring to be hung on a chatelaine, around the neck... This matchbox is made of silver (13 grs) not hallmarked and made in a Louis XV style in the second half of the 19th century. The so-called "rocaille" decoration is more present on one side, on the other side the style is more sober and the scraper for the matches is located at the bottom on the edge, see photos.
