Single chiseled guard branch. Convex clavier with 2 volutes with the arms of France on a radiant background surrounded by cornucopias and floral motifs as well as a short inverted counter clavier. Filigree silver fuse with triangular blade with hollow sides. Hallmark on the heel of the blade "S - h" for Samuel HOPPE known as Simon Helving, in SOLINGEN. Engraving on the heel of the blade. Leather scabbard with 2 cut and engraved brass fittings.
