A Chinese Imari dish decorated in the centre with the arms of Van Gellicum. Kangxi/Yongzheng E18thC.

Diameter; 10 1/4" (26.0 cm).

Condition; wear to the gilding on the rim. Shallow chip of 0.25 cm towards the underside.

Harmen van Gillicum was quartermaster on four ships sailing for the Dutch East India Company in Canton between 1728 and 1736
