Edouard Marcel SANDOZ (1881- 1971) animal sculptor for the GALLIA goldsmith. Series of 12 animal knife rests in silver plated metal, composed of a lying cat, a dove, a lion, a pig, a sturgeon, a pelican, a peacock, a hare, a swan, a lying dog, a greyhound, and a bear. Each piece bears the signature "O GALLIA" and measures between 9 cm and 11 cm in length by 2 cm in width and 2 cm in height. All are in very good condition, just a few minor scratches from use. Set sold without the original case. Art Deco period - 1930
