BONAMICI Mario, painter born in Paris in 1912 and died in Lausanne in 2002. Coming from a family of Italian painters and whose parents arrived in France in 1910, Mario BONAMICI was introduced to drawing and painting at a very early age. He attended classes at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs from the age of sixteen and made his debut in the renowned Jarach and Chambry studio as an illustrator. He frequented the worlds of fashion, theater and cinema. His brilliant pencil stroke was noticed and he devoted part of his professional life in France and Switzerland as a fashion designer alongside his career as a painter. This very beautiful work, an oil on panel from the 1970s rich in color, is titled "Pont Alexandre". It is in fact a view of the Pont Alexandre III with the Seine and the Eiffel Tower in perspective. Signature of the artist at the bottom right.
