" 2 Brass Compasses By Deinert, Nuremberg, C. 1740"
Set of two compasses made of brass and bearing the mark, a wheel, of the German manufacturer of weights and measures working in Nuremberg Adolf Deinert. We can date the compasses to the years 1740-1750. The compasses measure 10.7 cm and 7.5 cm in length. Perfect original condition, the tips have not been recut. German signature not common on compasses.
