Circa 1860. 12 Paris Porcelain Plates, Gold And Flower Decor, Napoleon III.

Very beautiful series of porcelain plates from Paris (called "Old Paris"). The decoration is both painted and in slight relief on the border. The whole is hand painted, the very rocaille border is gilded with yellow gold. The flowers present a very beautiful diversity. They are painted with an attention to detail and realism, almost like a botanist. Napoleon III period, around 1860. Please note: these plates are in very good general condition. There is a chip on the edge on two of them (visible in photos). Gilding more or less rubbed and firing defects. Please look carefully at the photos. Dimensions: Diameter: 21.8 cm. Depth: 3 cm.
