"Louis XVI "sauteuse" Chest Of Drawers, Walnut, Provence, Early 19th Century."
Pretty "jumping" chest of drawers opening with two drawers with 'frames', enhanced with gilded brass rods and fitted with original gilded bronze fittings. The sides, with a straight panel, are also enhanced with gilded rods. Original top, with 'frame', and straight edges. It rests on four long "sheath" feet. The basements are in softwood; the back is made up of two panels. Regional work, early 19th century, in very good original condition.
