This 18th-century Sicilian table is made from various wood species, including rosewood, kingwood, walnut, and maple. The rectangular top features a sophisticated geometric and radial decoration at the center, with a star motif enclosed within a contrasting wood frame. The edge is adorned with a bronze profile. The side aprons are enriched with inlays of geometric and linear patterns, highlighted by the use of woods in different tones to create depth and chromatic contrast, along with a finely crafted bronze profile. The corners are emphasized by vertical fluted panels, characteristic of the Sicilian Neoclassical style. The tapered and fluted legs enhance the elegance of the piece, lending lightness to its structure.
