"Paris Porcelain Plate - Attributed To The Darte Manufactory In Paris - Empire Period"
Plate with polychrome decoration on the theme of wolf hunting In the center of the plate, an animated scene shows two hunting dogs running at full speed, their bodies stretched out and their legs outstretched, pursuing a fleeing wolf with its mouth half-open. The background represents a hilly landscape, punctuated by slender trees and a blue horizon, reinforcing the perspective and depth of the composition. A wide gold line frames the central scene. The marli (inner edge of the plate) is richly decorated with a deep midnight blue background, characteristic of the porcelains of the Darte factory in Paris. It is decorated with a golden floral frieze, alternating small stylized flowers and intertwined arabesques. A wide gold line on the border enhances the whole, emphasizing the elegance and finesse of the decoration.
