"Vase From Leune Glassworks Decorated With Holly Branches."
Vase from the LEUNE glassworks decorated with holly branches. H. 51 cm Small chip on the neck, visible in the photos. The first trace of the Leune glassworks, we have it in a document from the police headquarters of Seine Saint Denis. This document tells us that it was installed on February 15, 1861 in Epinay sur Seine. Between 1904 and 1914, the Leune establishments produced porcelain, medical glassware, trinkets, cups and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes, as well as birds and flowers, painted with hot-fixed enamel. These decorative productions are affordable and mass-produced.
