Perfect condition Almaric Walter is a master glassmaker from the Nancy school known for his glass pastes and the colors he gives off. From the Art Nouveau movement. Amalric Walter, born in 1870, was trained at the Manufacture de Sèvres, then set up his own business to produce glass pastes and earthenware (few examples have reached us) After the 1900 World's Fair where he was rewarded; between 1905 and 1915, he collaborated with Maison Daum and will create, based on the designs of the chief decorator Henri Bergé, more than a hundred models of glass pastes in the Art Nouveau style (animals, floral decorations, etc.) His reputation established, both in Paris and in Nancy, he created his own workshop and continued his work with Bergé; more than 500 models will be born from their work. The work and the technique of glass paste being complex and slow, the number of copies of each piece is limited. Amalric Walter will close his workshop in 1935.
