"Bronze Sculpture "jason" By Boucher"
Large sculpture by Alfred Boucher ( Bouy - sur- Orvin 1850 - Aix les - Bains 1935 ) french artist student of Dumont and Dubois in Paris.He stayed several times in Rome and Florence before settling in Paris where he produced many busts, subjects inspired by Antiquity. He was awarded the grand prize for sculpture at the Universal Exhibition of 1900. Many of his works are in French museums, notably at the Camille Claudel Museum in Nogent sur Seine.
This bronze has its rotating base, signature on the terrace as well as the round stamp of the founder. Beautiful patina.
