Large Art Deco Vase Signed Delatte Nancy

Art Deco vase by Delatte Nancy. This superb glass vase, by Delatte Nancy, was made between 1920 and 1930, during the emblematic period of Art Deco. Slender and elegant, it rests on a circular foot and reveals a magnificent gradient of colors, ranging from a fiery red in the center to a deep purple on the foot and neck. The handles, made of double glass (an advanced technique of glassmakers), recall the shape of an amphora and bring lightness, refinement and originality to the silhouette of this large vase.
