Pair of patinated bronze vases based on the model of the antique vase called "Townley vase", a famous Roman marble vase discovered at the end of the 18th century and purchased in 1805 by the British Museum. It is decorated on the belly with a frieze depicting a procession dedicated to the Dionysian cult. Our pair of vases are presented on their original bases in turned marble in "sea foam green" color.
