Large park bust representing a woman draped and coiffed in the manner of an ancient goddess, possibly Diana or Aphrodite. Italian work, from the Tuscany region, dating from the end of the 17th / beginning of the 18th century. This type of large bust sculpted in white Carrara marble was intended to decorate the gardens or alcoves of the facades of the rich Italian villas of the time. The whole is in good general condition and has a patina of use consistent with the period and the outdoor positioning from the origin of the sculpture.
