"Religious Pendulum "
Religious clock of rectangular architectural shape, in marquetry of tortoiseshell, brass, pewter and gilded bronze, decorated with foliage scrolls and interlacing. Side columns topped with Corinthian capitals, framing the composition topped with an openwork balustrade and a dome under which the gong is held.
Crowned with fire pots. Door on the front with arched view at the top.
Brass dial engraved with the hours in Roman numerals and graduated with minutes in Arabic numerals, surmounting a bas-relief representing Phaeton driving the chariot of the sun.
