"“quai De Villefranche Sur Mer” Robert Belgrand"
Robert BELGRAND was born in 1901 and died in 1982. In 1925, he created his silk designer studio in Lyon. Passionate about painting and a great lover of nature, he painted many landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes. This work, dated 1957 and located in Villefranche-sur-Mer, represents a quayside full of walkers and cars. The warm tones of the building facades and the bright sky reflect the atmosphere of the Côte d'Azur. With its patinated wooden frame, the dimensions of the painting are 50.5 cm x 67.5 cm.
