Round barrel, rifled bore, crimping lever attached to underside. Marked on top ADDRESS Col. Colt's Patent NEW YORK USA and stamped 5028 on the underside.
Five-chamber fluted cylinder, marked PATENTED SEPT 10th 1850, with English hallmarks. Brass front sight.
Closed frame, with English hallmarks, and caliber marking behind the hammer.
Single-action side hammer. Spur trigger.
Stock stamped 5028.
Selected and varnished wooden stock plates.
Very good condition. Re-blued packaging by gunsmith.
Original English case; oak, screw-mounted, with brass badge on lid. The interior is lined with red felt (restored), with later accessories.
