18th Italian Ginori Doccia Porcelain Coffee Service

Porcelain coffee service from the Ginori factory in Doccia, Florence, 18th century.
The service consists of a coffee pot and 12 cups with saucers decorated with small landscape views and finished in red.
The Ginori porcelain factory in Doccia was one of the most prestigious European porcelain factories. It was founded by the will of the Marquis Carlo Ginori in 1737, in a villa he owned in Doccia (now incorporated into Sesto Fiorentino). The descendants of Carlo Ginori continued to be its owners and manage it until 1896, when it merged with the Società Ceramica Richard of Milan.
