Remarkable Art Deco period chandelier signed J. ROBERT* composed of nine glassware called pressed-molded with rich relief decoration in the pure Art Decorative style 1920-30 animated with stylized geometric and naturalist motifs, beautiful regilded bronze frame with decoration decorated with eight sandblasted glass plates in the corners facing the tulips. Good general and electrical condition. Dimensions: 90 cm high X 60 cm wide. Establishment Jean Gauthier (EJG & Ezan) J.Robert, Paris & Ezanville Jean Gauthier had his first workshop at 12-14 rue Jean Robert in Paris and then expanded with factories in the town of Ezanville. At the beginning, just after the First World War, Gauthier made cameos which were sometimes signed Gauthier. Jean Gauthier concentrated on the production of art deco glassware in pressed-molded glass. The glass was signed EJG for the Etablissements Jean Gauthier and J.Robert after the street name of the first workshop.
