Very pretty Japanese hanging depicting Lions and Lionesses in a forest, On fine canvas, unedged, seam in the center, the decorations join, Mellerio had to be nailed, framed or hemmed, but in the upper part a slight tear of about 4 cm, the edges are raw, but the bottom seam slightly unstitched the canvas is in good condition circa 1900 the colors are well preserved, this hanging probably remained stored away in a cupboard for many years 152 x 103 cm
