"Soapy Opaline Cup With Charles X Bronze Frame"
Round soapy opaline cup on a gilt bronze mount. Resting on four clawed feet, the pedestal is finely chiseled with palmettes, a row of pearls and laurel leaves. The cup is very hollow, its rim is surrounded by an ornate gallery which accommodates two S-shaped handles with Restoration motifs. The cup measures 5.5 cm in depth. The whole is in excellent condition, no defects on the opaline, nor on the bronze elements which are gilded without stain.
