Ismael Gonzalez de la Serna Ismael de la Serna, whose full name is Ismael González de la Serna, born in Guadix, Andalusia, in 1898, and died in Paris in 1968, is a Spanish painter linked to the Parisian district of Montparnasse, to the Alameda café in Granada and to the poet Federico García Lorca. Here is an original ink representing a horse and its rider (probably Don Quixote whom the artist represented in his work). Between cubism and surrealism we find here the universe specific to this artist. Signed lower right, frame dimensions included: 54 x 42 centimeters
