"Silver Frame Crystal Centerpiece "
Oval crystal bowl, centerpiece resting on an openwork and finely crafted silver-plated bronze frame in the Louis XV Transition style. The crystal is worked with a grinder, the star-shaped base topped with diamond points and an alternation of ovals and lines. The rim is protected by an openwork gallery with pearl and leaf row motifs. Two handles join the base to the perimeter belt. In very good condition, no defects on the crystal, no missing parts on the frame. 19th century Napoleon III work. Presence of a goldsmith's hallmark doubly recalled but not identified!
