"19th Century Gyroscopic Marine Lamp"
Rare 19th century ship's oil lamp in wrought iron, with three hoops, cardan interiors. This example is rare because it has a three-axis structure, which means that it can rotate on three planes and keep the flame vertical when the ship rolls in the waves. Beautiful original patina.
