Lyre clock in blackened wood and rich gilded bronze ornamentation. The lyre with palmette decoration topped with a magnificent finely chiseled peacock. Pretty pendulum representing two swans side by side in chiseled and gilded bronze. The base rests on 4 round gilded bronze feet. The base is nicely decorated with a bronze belt chiseled with flowers, butterflies and acanthus leaves, very beautiful patina. Original gilding in very good condition. Original mechanism in good working order. Dial with Roman numerals. Restoration period.
