Dimensions: 56 cm H Kayser & Sohn AG-KAYSERZINN (1862-1925) In 1862 in Düsseldorf, a new foundry opened its doors in the Bockum district of Krefeld. In 1899, the company reached its maximum size with a staff of 400 men. The Krefeld foundry, headed by Jean Kayser, was dedicated to mass production, where the designs came from the Cologne Studio of Englebert Kayser. The decorations were inspired by French Art Nouveau creations as well as by German linear Jugendstil.
