Yves BAILLERGEAU (1881-1959) Mosque on the island of Djerba. French painter, born in Nantes on October 3, 1881. Student of Maxence, Sabatté, Baschet and D. Lusas, he painted landscapes and frescoes. Holder of a silver medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1921, member of the Colonial Society, he exhibited at Versailles, at the Institute of Carthage as well as at the Royal Academy of Madrid.
