"Gallé Vase "the Blue Line Of The Vosges""
Elephant foot shaped vase in multi-layer glass finely engraved in cameo with mountain and fir landscapes reflected on a lake, in blue, brown and ochre tones on a nuanced opalescent yellow background, brown towards the base. Cameo signature in the Gallé decoration. This series was published to mark the exile of the Alsatians to Lorraine during the war of 1870.
