Magnificent pair of designer wall lights from the 90s by Pierre LALLEMAND "Moonlight" model, in steel and sandblasted glass. Dimensions: 7 x 22 x 29 cm Note 2 tiny chips on the glass, invisible when the wall lights are installed on the wall. Pierre Lallemand, born in Brussels on July 23, 1959, is an architect of buildings and boats, and a designer of urban lighting fixtures. After classical training in architecture, Pierre Lallemand became an architect of land and naval constructions. In 1989, Pierre Lallemand, together with Marc Thill, Isidore Zielonka and civil engineer Philippe Van Halteren, founded the architectural firm Art & Build architects present in Brussels, Paris, Luxembourg and Toulouse. He is the author of several buildings such as the "Library of Human Sciences" of the Free University of Brussels, the "Museum of Medicine" in Brussels, the renovation of the Berlaymont, headquarters of the European Commission (Brussels) or the Agora building of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Some of his models as "objects of possible architectures" are now part of the permanent collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (department "Architecture and Design"). Since 1988, he has also distinguished himself as a designer by producing lighting fixtures for urban lighting (Moonlight, Hermès, Cyclope, Cyborg, Ion, Septimus, ...) published by the firms Moonlight Design and Schreder. From 1999, he designed the Ionic range of sailboats. He is currently working on the creation of a range of catamarans and trimarans in collaboration with Michel Desjoyeaux.
