This small chest of drawers in solid walnut, called sauteuse, has two rows of drawers. The crossbow-shaped front rests on curved feet ending in sabots, the front uprights are inlaid halfway with a small five-pointed star. The crosspiece under the drawers, carved with a shell in the center, is scalloped and bordered with a small elegy cord, as are the sides. It is adorned with falling handles and bronze lock entries that are later. Originally from the Rhone Valley, it was produced in the 18th century. Well preserved, its wood is healthy and only the tips of the feet and the ends of the drawers have been restored. 18th century period. Height 82 cm, length 87 cm, depth 68 cm.
