Entirely lacquered in gold and decorated in taka and hira maki-e with children playing (karako) with a dog in shakudo and pheasants among flowering shrubs. It opens onto 3 drawers also decorated in gold as well as the inside of the door on a nashiji background with the decoration of Ebisu with his carp. Small lacquer losses. Origin: Japan.
