"Clock Portico In Marble And Gilded Bronze Napoléon III 1878"
Very elegant portico clock in the Louis XVI style, from the Napoleon III period, mechanism dated 1878. In white Carrara marble, two-column architecture accompanied by fine gilded bronze ornamentation with floral decoration, including a long and fine garland of flowers connecting each column. Large domed dial in white enamel decorated with paintings of garlands of flowers, accompanied by finely worked gilded hands and protected by domed glass. The space between the columns is animated by a beautiful sun pendulum, it oscillates in front of a decoration of musical instruments.
Original mechanism without modification. Hour and half-hour strike on old bell.
